FDA: Protect Our Borders, Protect Our Communities, Finish The Job On Illegal Disposable Flavored Vapes
After years of turning a blind eye to it, the FDA is finally acknowledging and taking action against illegal, disposable vapes made in China that are marketed to kids with youth-enticing flavors and have taken steps to enforce the laws on these dangerous products, including issuing a Red Alert allowing for the seizure of these illegal vapes at the border and other ports of entry.

These actions are an encouraging sign that the FDA means what it says when it comes to making enforcement against these illegal products a priority -- but when it comes to protecting our borders and ensuring the safety of America’s youth, mere words are not sufficient.
THe FDA Needs to Finish The Job on these Dangerous, Illegal Foreign Vapes
As fentanyl continues pouring over the border and traffickers look for new ways to move illicit drugs into communities, the FDA and Biden administration must get out of their cubicles, seize the momentum, and team up with local law enforcement to finish the job and get every last one of these potentially-lethal, illegal vapes away from kids and off store shelves.
Acknowledging that "enforcement action" against these illegal Chinese-made disposable vapes is now a priority is a step in the right direction.
However, we cannot solely rely on rhetoric. To truly secure our borders and shield American youth from harm, the Biden administration must demonstrate unwavering commitment and see this mission through to completion.
